Because there’s a lot of content in our virtual classroom, we thought we’d give you the down-low on how to make the most of your first 14-days.
Whether you’ve signed up for yourself or to support someone else with their GCSE exam prep, the below will guide you through where to go next.
Ready to get started?
1. Watch our ‘How to get started’ video
First things first: if you’re completely new to Your Favourite Teacher, don’t worry – we’ve created this nifty little video to walk you through the platform step-by-step.
In our ‘How to get started’ video, you’ll learn:

- Where to see the coins you’ve collected
- How to change your avatar and keep track of your badges
- Where to ask for support if you need it
Watch the video below or access it on the right-hand side of your Dashboard under ‘Tutorial.’ Hint: you can also access a platform walk-through here by clicking on ‘Read’.
Psst! If you liked the above, we’ve got a ‘How to’ playlist on our YouTube channel to teach you everything you need to know about Your Favourite Teacher.
Need more information?
No problem. We’ve put together in-depth guides that walk you through everything from logging in to completing a lesson and accessing your report. You can also find these, along with revision packs, in our support subject.

2. Complete your first course
Now that you know the ins and outs of the platform (go you!), it’s time to complete your very first course. In your Dashboard, click on ‘View All Courses’ to see all course materials.
With your free trial, you’ve got access to different subjects so you are free to choose which course you’d like to complete first.
Important: you’ll need to watch until the end of each lesson video to unlock the rest of the course content.

Your user report will give you an overview of your progress, including lessons completed, quizzes passed, coins collected and much more.
